Marketing Assistant

REQUIREMENTS:

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides marketing support for the Middle East Region, particularly in relation to formatting of documentation and staff CV’s 
• Assists in the preparation of other marketing documentation for the Middle East Region 
• Provides support to the recruitment department in scanning and uploading CVs, encoding of applicant information 
• Other tasks may be assigned to her from time to time. 

Senior Bridge Engineer / Bridge Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Undertake technical design work and design checking for projects, in accordance with the Company System, as appropriate to the organization of each particular project, so as to meet or exceed project specific time and quality targets 
• Provide direction, supervision and mentoring of more junior staff 
• Assist with formal performance and development reviews for more junior staff 
• Assist in the recruitment of staff 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree qualified, with a minimum of 8 years postgraduate experience in hands-on detailed design of steel and concrete buildings and bridges, preferably medium to high rise, with proven people management capability. 
• Working knowledge of current UK and US design codes and software used in the international market. 
• The candidate must have a good understanding of engineering principles. 
• Competence with engineering software such as MIDAS, Staad Pro, Prokon, Superstress, Biax and AutoCAD.Overseas experience in an international engineering consultancy is essential. 
• A previous senior role supervising engineers and cad; overseas experience in a senior design role is essential 
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook are required. 
• Candidates must be highly motivated and capable. 
• Proficiency in dynamic and static analysis. 
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. 

QA Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: 
• Support and assist the Auditor on internal auditing to ensure the quality matter of the project and implements best practice throughout the team. 
• Maintains quality assurance practices and procedures 
• Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance to all policies as per company system 
• In charge for ensuring all quality reports are updated and maintained 
• All other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• A college degree is required with minimum 2years’ work experience in a QA role.

Project Planner 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: 
• Implementing Transportation Projects and cost controls procedures and system requirements as directed by the MER Projects and Cost Controls Director. 
• Responsible for updating resource planning for the team on a weekly basis 
• Produce resourced programs for each project together with costs 
• In charge of project start up, pfs management, project closures and invoicing 
• Preparing and maintaining project programs, using appropriate software, P6 & MS Projects 
• Preparing Project Earned Value Management Systems. 
• Working with the project team to ensure clear understanding of project objectives 
• Ensuring Projects are set up (P6 & Dynamics) in line with the Bid Model 
• Assisting in formal and informal training of Staff in the use of commercial/project control system 
• Maintaining the company Dynamics System. 
• Producing scheduled and ad hoc reports as required for the effective management of the Sector and Functions 
• Preparing regular project progress reports to the Project Manager(s), including resources, cost issues and recovery actions

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Engineering degree with good consulting/contracting and project control experience 
• At least 3 years’ experience in operating computer-based project control systems (Primavera P6 and MS Project) 
• In depth awareness in resource planning, costing and forecasting. 
• Has background in financial management and accounting. 
• Intensive knowledge in using resource planning tools such as Bar graphs, S-curve and Histogram. 
• Well versed in using MS Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) 
• Good level of commercial awareness, including cost planning and budget management 
• Good motivation, influencing, people management and delegation skills 
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and relationship building skills 
• Dynamics experience will be a distinct advantage. 

Senior Highway Design Engineer / Highway Design Engineer 

OBJECTIVES:

• The candidate will be expected to prepare and deliver: 
• Highway alignment and associated at-grade junctions and/ or grade separated interchange designs for major highway or urban road projects for concept, preliminary and detailed design; 
• Land development design including earthworks grading, corridor and alignment design for residential/ mixed use developments for concept, preliminary and detailed design; 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to; 
• Preparation of design drawings, calculations, scheme evaluations and design reports; 
• Supervision and assessment graduate engineers and CAD; 
• Professional development of graduate engineers and CAD; 
• Coordination with associated disciplines to ensure that interfaces have been considered and accounted for; 
• Assistance in striving continuous technical improvement of the design team; 
• Maintenance of a solid knowledge of industry standards and design codes. 

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:

REQUIREMENTS:

• The candidate must possess (as a minimum) a trade certificate in draughtsmanship or BSc Civil Engineering or equivalent with AutoCAD, Microstation, Civil 3D. 
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience for Cad Technician. 
• The candidate should have experience in major highways or urban road, drainage and/or land development projects. 
• The candidate must have the ability to work as part of a team to produce high quality deliverables to tight deadlines and the ability to work in a systematic and methodical manner. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications e.g. Excel and Outlook are required. 
• The candidate must be enthusiastic and pro-active. 
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. 

Drainage CAD Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
• Carry out technical CAD operations, in accordance with the Company System, to meet time and quality requirements relating to delivery of specific projects. 
• Produce high quality work to tight deadlines.
• Ensures standards are followed with regards to the preparation of drawings. 
• Organize and ensure CAD work is produced timely and uniformity. 
• Revise drawings as directed. 

REQUIREMENTS

• The candidate must possess (as a minimum) a trade certificate in draughtsmanship or BSc Civil Engineering or equivalent with AutoCAD, Microstation, Civil 3D. 
• The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. 
• Has a strong knowledge on Cad Drafting of sewerage, drainage and water 
• The candidate must have the ability to work as part of a team to produce high quality deliverables to tight deadlines and the ability to work in a systematic and methodical manner 
• The candidate must be enthusiastic and pro-active and committed team player 
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduating student of Business Administration, Secretarial or other related courses.
